Mariana Palea was born on July 28th, 1955 in Giurgiu. She attended high school of art and music in Giurgiu, the class of professor Silvia Grosu Jelescu. She took private lessons of paint with Elena Uta Chelaru. She attended The Institute of Art "Nicolae Grigorescu", at class of professors Rodica Lazar and Traian Bradean. Since 1990 she is member of Romanian Fine Artists Union. She is member of the Women Society of Interbalcanic Cooperation.
